The squiq-Traveler is available in five variants: mini for compact cars, compact for SUVs, regular for station wagons, maxi for high-roof combis, and our squiq-Traveler max for high-roof combis and vans.

We are constantly testing new vehicles, but cannot guarantee compatibility. The sheer number of vehicle variants, versions, and model years is overwhelming. As a guide, you can check if your car is on the list of vehicles we have already tested. Please check your car. Take the necessary measurements and check if the lashing eyes are present. If in doubt, visit us and we will jointly test which Traveler fits your car.

The Traveler- regular is designed for station wagons and larger SUVs.

The Traveler- compact has been reduced in depth and fits in most SUVs.

The Traveler- max has been widened and is therefore ideal for panel vans and vans.

As long as you stay in the same vehicle class, there's a good chance that the Traveler will fit in your new car. To be on the safe side, check before you buy whether your setup fits in your new car or look at the list of vehicles we've tested. Different cars have different advantages, and the additional storage space under the pull-out in particular varies greatly. Check out our overview of compatible vehicles.

In our opinion, the combination of camping trunk extension and roof tent is an optimal camping setup. However, solutions where you sleep in the vehicle also have their advantages. In the end, only you can decide what the ideal solution is for you.

Yes - the veneer plywood panels (birch multiplex) are not only coated in worktop quality, making them extremely durable and easy to clean, but are also glued together in a waterproof manner. All parts (except for the heavy-duty drawers) are made of corrosion-resistant aluminum and are powder-coated for easy care.

The Traveler can withstand a lot. The first extension can be loaded and extended with 160 kg. The second extension can be extended with 60 kg. Please note that the second extension is supported by the first extension.

No - the Traveler is only available in black and white. The white camping boxes reflect the sun and do not heat up as much in direct sunlight. The black pull-out fits discreetly into any trunk. The neutral color scheme allows for individual accents with colored camping equipment.

No - Depending on the vehicle, a water tank with an electric tap can be integrated under or on the pull-out. We recommend the Dometic GO Hydration Water Faucet + Water JUG 11L.

In the near future, suitable accessories will also be available in our online shop. At the moment, however, we are concentrating on the production and distribution of the squiq Traveler, but are happy to give product recommendations for optimal use of the Traveler.

Psst - This is still top secret but we are currently working on an extension that will allow you to add a sleeping option to the Traveler. In compact vehicles, the sleeping level will be possible instead of the camping boxes. In box vehicles and vans, the sleeping option will be able to be installed above the camping boxes. You won't find any accessories in our range at the moment. However, we are happy to give product recommendations:

Yes - it can be installed by one person, but we recommend that you save your back and have two people lift the 28 kg extension into the car. It is anchored in the vehicle using the tensioning straps provided on the luggage securing straps in the car. See also our operating and installation instructions.

Installation takes only a few minutes. You can find a short installation video here.

No - we use the luggage securing straps available in the vehicle for fastening.

No - you will receive special tensioning straps pre-installed for fastening. All you have to do is hook the tensioning strap into the luggage securing straps and pull it tight. Each of the two tensioning straps is certified for a tensile load of 800 kg.

After the tensioning straps are tightened, carefully pull the Traveler out slowly for the first time. It should not tip over and should sit firmly in the car. Carefully place your weight on the extended Traveler. The Traveler should not move, then the installation was successful.

We use DHL, Hermes, and DPD as our shipping providers. As soon as your order has been shipped, you will receive a notification from us with a

Yes, of course - In short: you can cancel your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. Please also note our information on your right of withdrawal.
