What do I do if I buy a new vehicle?
As long as you stay within the same vehicle class, there's a good chance the camping box will also fit in your new car – ideal if you want to convert your SUV into a camper without modifying anything on your vehicle. To be on the safe side, check before buying whether your setup will fit in your new car.
Different SUVs offer different advantages, especially the additional storage space under the pull-out drawer, which varies depending on the model. For your individual SUV camper conversion with the right camping box for the SUV's trunk, you can find all the details in our overview of compatible vehicles.
What is the maximum weight of the squiq-Traveler?
The Traveler can take a lot. The first pull-out can be loaded with 160 kg. The second pull-out can be pulled out with 60 kg. Please note that the second pull-out is supported by the first pull-out.
Are any modifications to the bodywork necessary for installation?
No - the luggage securing straps available in the vehicle are used for fastening.
Do I need special tools to attach the camping box to the SUV?
No – pre-made tension straps are included for securing the box. Simply hook the strap into the existing luggage securing loops in your SUV, tighten it with the ratchet – and your camping box is securely in place: SUV camping conversion made easy!
Each of the two tie-down straps is certified for a total tensile load of 800 kg. The whole system works intuitively and without any permanent SUV camper conversion – ideal if you want to convert your SUV into a camper without permanently modifying your vehicle.
