FAQs
Is the squiq-Traveler wind and weather resistant?
Yes - the veneer plywood panels (birch plywood) are not only coated in worktop quality and therefore extremely durable and easy to clean, they are also glued to be waterproof. We also use corrosion-resistant aluminum which is finished with an easy-care powder coating. The heavy-duty pull-outs are made of steel for technical reasons and are galvanized to be corrosion-resistant.
What is the maximum weight of the squiq-Traveler?
The Traveler can take a lot. The first pull-out can be loaded with 160 kg. The second pull-out can be pulled out with 60 kg. Please note that the second pull-out is supported by the first pull-out.
Are any modifications to the bodywork necessary for installation?
No - the luggage securing straps available in the vehicle are used for fastening.
Do I need special tools to attach the camping box to the high-roof station wagon?
No – pre-made tension straps are included for securing the box. Simply hook the tension strap into the existing luggage securing loops in your high-roof van, tighten it with the ratchet – and your camping box will be securely in place.
Each of the two tie-down straps is certified for a total tensile load of 800 kg. The whole process is incredibly easy and requires no permanent conversion of your high-roof van – ideal if you want to convert your van into a camper without making any permanent changes.
